Privacy Policy

Astrology is personal. The information behind it can be, too. This policy explains what Solyra needs to work, what stays private, which choices belong to you, and how to reach our support team when you need help.

Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the Solyra mobile application, public website, and support services operated by Fermata Digital Inc. (“Solyra,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Fermata Digital Inc. is the data controller responsible for the personal information described here.

Contact our support team at support@solyraapp.com or by mail at 6080 Center Drive, Suite 600, Los Angeles, CA 90045.

02

Guest accounts and profile information

Solyra currently uses a guest account tied to the app installation. Apple and Google sign-in are not available. Because the account is tied to an installation, deleting and reinstalling the app may mean that you cannot regain access to the same account or its associated information.

We collect information you provide while creating and using a profile. We ask for only the information that a feature reasonably needs.

  • A username and the guest-account identifier associated with the app installation.
  • Birth date, birth time, birth place, and selected birth-time precision.
  • Quiz answers, reflective responses, saved reports, preferences, and notification choices.
  • Friend requests, accepted friendships, blocks, account reports, and other social-feature actions.
  • Information you include when contacting support or making a privacy request.
03

Birth information and derived placements

Your raw birth information is private. We use it to calculate charts, placements, timing information, and personalized interpretations. Friends do not see your birth date, birth time, birth place, coordinates, or timezone.

If you use friend features, an accepted friend may see selected derived placements, such as a Sun, Moon, or Rising sign, for shared reflective experiences. Derived placements remain personal information.

04

Information created through use

Solyra creates and stores information as you use the app. This can include calculated astrology and numerology data, completed experiences, Inner Map traits, report state, reading history, friendship status, content preferences, and progress in the app.

Relevant profile information may be stored with our cloud provider so the app can operate, secure accounts, maintain chosen social features, and support the service. We do not promise that a guest account can be recovered on a different installation or device.

05

Device, diagnostics, and app activity

We may receive limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve Solyra, including app version, platform, timezone, installation identifiers, network status, notification tokens, crash or diagnostic details, and broad in-app activity.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, raw birth data, friend lists, private responses, or report text to Mixpanel. Product analytics use opaque account identifiers and approved broad usage events.

06

Product analytics

Product Analytics is off by default. It is enabled only when you explicitly opt in through the in-app privacy controls. When enabled, Mixpanel receives an opaque account identifier and broad product-usage events so we can understand how the app is used.

Product Analytics is not described as anonymous or unlinked: the opaque identifier helps us distinguish product activity without sending direct identifiers such as your name or email address. Server-originated product analytics are disabled for this release. Solyra does not include Session Replay.

07

Advertising and tracking choices

Solyra may show advertising through Google AdMob after adult onboarding and the applicable advertising choices. On iOS, Apple’s separate App Tracking Transparency choice controls whether Solyra may access the advertising identifier for tracking. Declining tracking does not prevent you from using Solyra; advertising requests are non-personalized.

Regional Google consent choices also apply where required. In the app, open Profile → Privacy & Support → Advertising Privacy Choices to open Google’s consent form when it is available. If the form is not available, use the relevant device settings.

08

How we use and share information

We use personal information to provide and operate Solyra responsibly. This includes creating readings and reports, maintaining profiles and friendships, delivering requested notifications, operating advertising and analytics according to your choices, addressing reports, and responding to support or privacy requests.

We share information only as described in this policy: with service providers, at your direction, for the friend features you choose to use, for a business transaction, or where required to comply with law and protect people or the service. We do not sell raw birth information, and we do not make private reports, reflections, quiz responses, or raw birth information publicly searchable.

  • Microsoft Azure for cloud hosting, storage, databases, APIs, and related infrastructure.
  • Mixpanel for opted-in product analytics using opaque account identifiers and broad usage events.
  • Google AdMob for advertising and related measurement, subject to advertising and platform choices.
  • Apple and Google platform services for app distribution and notifications.
  • Professional advisers, authorities, or transaction counterparties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the business.
09

Safety reports, retention, and deletion

Deleting an account removes the app account and associated profile and social data held for normal operation. It does not mean that every record is removed immediately or in every circumstance.

Safety reports contain opaque account identifiers, report category, status, and timestamps. We retain those records for safety review and related enforcement. A specific safety-review retention period is not stated on this page. We may also retain limited information where necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement.

10

Your privacy rights and security

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know or access information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. California and other U.S. state residents may also have rights concerning sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and profiling. To make a request, email support@solyraapp.com. We may request reasonable information to verify that the request concerns your account.

Solyra and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers. We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure.

11

Adults only, changes, and contact

Solyra is for adults 18 and older. The app enforces the age requirement during birth-profile creation and editing, and Solyra is not designed for children.

We may update this policy as Solyra evolves. If a change is material, we will provide notice appropriate to the change and update the effective date. Questions, concerns, and requests can be sent to support@solyraapp.com.
